It is no secret that the TL Travel team adores Lush Cosmetics & their handmade, natural beauty products. We bring their products with us on the road, use them in our homes & often include them in giveaways & luxury travel welcome kits. By far our favorite Lush product to travel with is their "No Drought" Dry Shampoo. It's packaging makes it small enough to pack in our makeup kits & it's snap-top lid has yet to explode all over our belongings! The best way to use this product is to apply it with a large, soft make-up brush (to avoid large quantities on your hair-line) & comb through lightly to help your hair absorb more oil for a long-lasting, fresh look.
Another product that our travelers adore is the Lush "9 to 5" cleansing lotion. Yes, it is everything that it promises to be but also more. While it is not advertised on the bottle as a makeup remover, the 9 to 5 cleansing lotion can be applied lightly to a tissue or face cloth & used in one clean swipe to remove your makeup (yes, even eye makeup!) I cannot tell you how many times the Lush 9 to 5 has rid me of my raccoon eyes after emerging from the ocean in my "waterproof" mascara. Yikes!
Our third favorite Lush product, while not packaged ideally for travel, is so fabulous that I often transfer a portion into a smaller container in order to bring it with me on the road & keep it carry-on friendly!
